CS 1.6 attending The Party 8 in Eindhoven, NL

It’s been a while that our CS 1.6 team had plans to attend a LAN Party here in the Benelux. Only two months ago they had to let Belgium’s biggest CS lan pass by (Frag-O-Matic) due to all players having some private life priorities and we could only agree with that.

Last time we’ve seen the 1.6 team performing at an off-line event goes back to the ESL PRO SERIES Season 3 Lan Finals in Utrecht, Netherlands. Of course that event wasn’t really one of the best we’ve had as the team decided to split just two days earlier. Logically the motivation wasn’t really to be found to assure a 200% performance on stage that day.

But since the end of January the team has known a solid training schedule with only goal in mind. veni vidi vici.

Remembering the last time the team attended an event with a good preparation, the result was to be seen!
What makes it important to be present at this one, is that it’s the Benelux Dreamhack Qualifier.
Thanks to the popular “Pack4Dreamhack” concept of last year, Intel announced to be supporting it again and making it possible for two teams this year to attend the world’s largest LAN party in Jönköping, Sweden. The Belgian team with the best final rank takes the ticket with a value of over 2200 Euro.
