It’s this weekend that GamersAssembly 2010 takes place in Poitiers, France.

Being at it’s 11th edition, it’s one of France and Europe’s most prestigious LAN’s when it comes to professional competitions with side-animation and events. Also it’s one of the LAN’s awarding ranking points for the French VideoGaming Masters which has it’s LAN finals at the end of the Spring.

Being a must for Sypher to have our presence at such prestigious event, this weekend 3 players of our CSS team will be travelling down to Poitiers together with Sypher CEO Damien “Kami” Rapoye. With a departure set for this Friday noon the guys will be making a 7h hours ride down to France. During the weekend we’ll be providing you guys with Twitter updates, Galleries, player & management blogs…

The main reason for our players to be present at the LAN is that the first ASUS European Nations Championship Offline event takes place on Saturday featuring our players, and those facing the French National CSS team. This will be in the enormous arena of the Futuroscope which provides over 1000 spectator seats.

Of course it’s to stupid to just go there for 1 game and so our players will participate in the CSS tournament along some of Europe’s best teams while this is surely one of the year’s biggest weekends when it comes to LAN parties (i39, The Party 8). Unfortunately something happened with janssen & boon recently reducing the line-up to 3 players for this event and bringing in 2 substitutes.
