Fekuj taking a break, sypher removes 4SYPHER.COD
Back in January we announced the start of a new concept called 4SYPHER. This new feature would give upcoming teams the opportunity to have an organisation helping them out with any problems they’d have, and supporting them with basic support so they can move on to the next step in competitive gaming in their local scene and Europe.
The team being the “beta-tester” in this were the Finnish COD guys of “FAP”. Unfortunately a while ago their team-captain Valtteri Immonen, Fekuj told us that he would be lowering his online activity and putting more time in studies and social activities.
By this we remove the COD team as Fekuj was our only close connection with the line-up and it’s only with him that we could keep doing this.

After CIC7 we felt like finding a new fifth, which we eventually did. However during the last few weeks i’ve lost my motivation towards the game almost completely and i decided not to continue. The team decided not to look for a new fifth again so the only conclusion for this was to split up. I’d really like to thank kez for being the worst beatboxer ever, ruohiz just because of his BEARD, sarine (don’t let this guy in train after not sleeping at all) and kusti for just being part of the most awesome team i’ve been in so far. As far as i know sarjne, kusti and ruohiz will have at least some kind of break from gaming, kez will continue with other team. I personally will still continue as finland’s rep at Vita Nova + i’m attending Solid Mojo with a mixteam.
Some words from our side.
We’ve always had a strong bond with Fekuj and so we worked out this 4SYPHER to give him what he always wanted, being a part of sypher but this time as a player. Of course it’s something we wanted as well as we’ve always knew Valtteri being a great guy and helping us out with so many things.
Unfortunately, a part of the project will now stop and we believe it’s the best for both. Besides them splitting up I’m sure there were also some flaws from our side and we won’t deny that. The problem where we see it, is that in the last year we’ve made this change in our strategy by positioning ourselves more and more on the Franco-Belgian market (when it comes to players and partners). Due to this we couldn’t offer them the correct support and the team-management wasn’t the same for them as others experience it.
Nevertheless that, we had a great time and some amusing moments on our private IRC channel!!
. We’d like to say thanks for representing us at CiC and the online-matches they played by the tag of 4SYPHER. We’ll see this split as the best for both and we wish all players good luck in what they do next. Cheers guys!
To end this story here an overview of those who created 4SYPHER and deserve all fame!
